Crisálida Inc., A nonprofit that will provide a broad range of services for victims of domestic violence, including short-term and transitional housing, support for daily needs, counseling, life skills and job skills training to assist victims achieve self-sufficiency and healing.   The goal of Crisálida, Inc. is to provide:

• educational workshops to the community bringing the issue of domestic violence into public consciousness. In doing so, our hope is that society as a whole will acknowledge the problem and realize its existence within our communities and have a desire to provide assistance whether by volunteering and/or donating to the cause of ending domestic violence.
• shelter and transitional housing to victims of domestic violence.
• affordable housing to victims of abuse as this continues to be a huge barrier for victims to move forward to self-sufficiency in a timely manner. Other limitations for victims of abuse are childcare, employment, education, poverty, and support systems.
• work diligently as an organization with the help of the community to ensure these and other needs are met.
