TPC Membership Agreement

  • The Colorado Teen Parent Collaborative (TPC) is a unified community of organizations driven by the strength of teen parents to raise public awareness, share resources, and advocate for public policy that benefits teen parents and their children. Its members include individuals and organizations advocating on behalf of or providing services and supports to pregnant and parenting teens and their children.

Benefits of membership include information exchange, networking and opportunities for collaboration; education and professional development; and coalition partnerships and advocacy.

The TPC consists of two classes of members: voting members and participating members. Voting members are those individuals who have submitted a signed copy of this membership agreement to the TPC coordinator in an individual or organizational capacity. Voting members are entitled to vote on policy positions and decisions endorsed by the TPC. Participating members are individuals who are interested in attending TPC meetings or events but have not submitted a signed copy of this membership agreement to the TPC coordinator and may not vote on TPC policy positions or decisions. Any policy positions taken are those of the TPC as a collective and are not necessarily endorsed by individual members or member organizations.

By agreeing to membership (voting or participating), members consent to receiving communication (email, mail and phone calls) intended to communicate information and activities of the TPC. Member contact information is intended for non-commercial use. Members may not use the Teen Parent Collaborative or member information (including the names, emails, phones and addresses of those who submitted information) for selling or promoting products or services, soliciting clients, or any other commercial purpose or fundraising events. All requests for any use of the listserve must be sent to the TPC coordinator at teenparentcollaborative@gmail.com. The TPC website may be used for promoting your organization’s events, activities, research articles, and fundraiser. Please email the TPC coordinator to promote your organization’s event on the TPC website page, Facebook page, and other social media networks.

To discontinue membership and request removal from TPC contact list, please contact teenparentcollaborative@gmail.com.
